Well, that's a possible solution to the problem.
BUT as a patrol usually lasts for severaly weeks and I usually have only a few hours to play per day, it doesn't seem to work for me. And I don't want to take a risk and set a time compression higher than 32x when on the surface, as once I was bombed badly without even having a chance to react when I played on high TC.
