I've spent about 5 months total cruising in AM 52 and I've never seen an North American ship there. Only Five o'Clocks and I think also French (but that was rare). Remember to stay in the deep part of the grid - I never let myself to get to close to the shelf, cause there's death awaiting my visit impatiently.
Another very interesting spot is CG95 (if I remember correctly), i.e. the grid west of Gibraltar.
