I will post my dxdiag.txt file in a few. I have a niveda card and have updated all drivers on my machine. My laptop is running a ATI card and I seem to have good luck with game life. I have re-installed the game and deleted any and all mod files till I get a baseline game running. I have rolled back video drivers and altered my settings to get a game to play. While my machine is not state of the art it does well with all other games I play. My time that I do get to play is small so it pisses me off to no end to have to go through all these hoops to play this game. I do like the game a lot - and I am not sure it is related to the game engine or not. There is a chance that my AVG (anti virus) is screwing me up or is zone alarms firewall is the issue or any other background programs are contributing to it. SOS!
