I am running the superb Grey Wolves Mod, however since then I have experienced several game crashes. I do not think it is the Mod, I think that the Mod just exposes issues with my computer hardware in particular the graphics card drivers. My system is:

AMD duel core 2.6 Ghz 5000 cpu
2GB Balistix SD2 RAM
Evga Nvidia 7950 GTX superclocked Sli video card. 1GB onboard RAM.
Window XP pro.

What happens is that the game freezes for no reason at any given point. I have found a solution though!

What I do is press Alt+Ctrl+delete ONCE, then wait for anything up to about 30 40 seconds then the screen goes all weird on me! Then a few more seconds later the desktop comes up with the windows task manager.

However the game is there minamalised on the multi task bar at the bottom of the screen.

What I do is then is close the Windows task manager without changing anything and click on the game which then comes back on again fully restored. However in the U-Boat control room the maps are a weird colour. To solve this I right click on the Navigator chap and then select the Map and then do the same for the Weapons officer and TDC map. This restores them.

After that the game doesn’t crash again for me. Only once has it crashed a second time during the game. Again I did the same procedure and again it worked.
The reason why I think it has something to do with my graphics card drivers is that I have also had issues with playing movies from the desktop and accessing the Nvidia control panel. Its like it gets overwhelmed by all the calculations it has to do. Nine times out of ten it crashes in game whilst under time compression.
