Default I'm surprised this story hasn't been discussed: Apache rescue mission in Afghanistan

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article...551805,00.html

This really was quite an incredible story from the other day. Did it not make news outside of the UK?

Quote:
Four Royal Marines launched a daring and extraordinary mission to rescue the body of a comrade from an enemy stronghold in Afghanistan by strapping themselves to the wings of two Apache helicopter gunships.
Does anyone know if this has been done before? This truly is an amazing act of bravery and heroism by those involved.
