I don't like flying lorries
, and the 109 is my favourite plane (I don't like so much the FW limited forward view). Any 109 driver knows the most stupid thing is to get in a turning fight and that if you use the vertical no russian plane can follow you until late in the war. So it's no turning and high yoyos instead.
But I agree the IL2 is a nice lorry and a flying tank...
I often saw some fly back to base with parts missing.
