The Arleigh Burkes, due to spiral development, exist in about 3 different versions. You've got:
- Arleigh Burkes w/no hanger, CIWS and a tail
- Arleigh Burkes w/a hanger, CIWS and no tail
- Arleigh Burkes w/a hanger, ESSM, and no tail
Only one of them is modeled in DW. The only reason I can think of is that they ran out of money and hoped that enterprising navy geeks would eventually supplement their oversights.
Does anyone else remember the days when wargames were all about the good databases and mechanics and not about the graphics?
