I don't normally go for late war patrols, but on one occasion I had the VIIC/41 (June '44) out of St Nazaire - only to discover when leaving the pens a B-24 raid was in progress - very atmospheric as the type 34 destroyers were going for it throwing loads of lead into the sky - I ordered my flak crew up to add to the chaos
