I think I know the problem. Even tho you're supposed to be transfered from Wilhelmshaven after Sept 1, 1940, you still need to return there. Then you'll be transfered to Lorient. I'll head back there after patroling my assigned grid and see what happens. I'ts a SHIII bug and not associated with SHIII Cmdr, as far as I can see so far.
Sorry to get anyone worked up over it. It's just one of those things I guess. No fault of anyone's but mine.
