Actually, I hope you did not lose to much in the scam.
Seems like the legal system is the same all over.
I really had my nose broken almost 2 years ago just after I said Hi to someone that just came by with the person that owned the trailer I was trying to maintain.
The Detective threatened to charge ME with filing a faulse police report because both the person that hit me and the owner claimed they were shopping at the time. Because of that The detective told the Victims Assistence Review Board that he felt I did it to myself (forget about the fact that I landed in a small cactus plant when I went down
). It did not help that I did not black out as he thought I should have if I truely was hit from a punch from someone coming from a crouching position as I claimed.
Here's the odd part, I actually have an E-Mail printed out from the Owner admitting they were both there and the Dectective refused to read it. even stranger, the guy that hit me had already served time for something prior (Never found for what). The Victims Assistence review board dropped my case even though I have a squeeky clean record.
Now. during the time I was trying to get this guy Arrested, the owner had me move out of the trailor and filed a restraining order against me to prevent me from reporting to the police when this guy was there. Her only evidence that she had that I was violent and a threat was that my Father is facing charges from something he did about 3 years ago and may finally see the inside of a courtroom in a few weeks. I won the Restraining order case because he judge refused to hold what my father may have done against me and She could not prove directly that I was a threat. She even prodused a witness (whom I've never met) claiming he knew me but could not state any facts. Nothing happened to her.
