Correct. Only when I crash dive. And as far as hitting the bottom, I can't say. I was in deep and open ocean and went down to about 175 m before I realized what was happening and blew ballast to get myself out of the dive.
That being said, this was all before my career file got corrupted and would give me CTD's while loading the game. I have since wiped and reinstalled completely. No problems as of yet. Knock on wood.
