In Polish we have a joke about officer's bed (a word-play I'll try to translate):
— What does an officer have under his bed?
— An officer has to clean up under his bed, sir!
And another one, impossible to translate, but I'll try to explain… It's just so funny:
— An officer looks under his bed in the morning and what does he see?
— His 'morning shoes', sir! [those you put on when awaken and going to bath or so.]
But the second sentence means literally also:
— His shoes wounded, sir!
