As long as you never surface at all, only use diesels and the snorkel for charging batteries and attack convoys from below 40m depth you are almost invincible.

In practice, how do you do that? Set the pericope to 360 and start firing at 10 degrees off the bow? (assuming beam on)
Interesting. Just how does one use a Type XXI in SH3, taking full advantage of its capabilities, as opposed to using it like a glorified Type VII/IX?
