Kewl! I didn't know about the crew listing button stuff.
Actually, what I'd meant for #1 wasn't what the
current crew compliment was for any given patrol, but a record of the
changes that occurred between patrols. For instance, when starting Commander when I get a message about one of the crew being transferred off my boat, having that stored somewhere as part of the patrol history.
As to #2, well

I'd meant, of course, that the information would only become 'available'
after a patrol was completed. Wouldn't make a great deal of sense to have that displayed before or during (unless your XO has a crystal ball and can use it
)
