Hi there.

I'm currently trying to figure out how to use late-war U-boats in the early part of the war and early-war U-boats in the later years (because sometimes I'd just like the challenge of playing a IIA boat that I'd get in 1939 in the year 1945 instead).

So I figured that the only way I could do this and not make such a change permanent would be to change a CFG file in my SH3 Careers folder.

I tried giving one of my profile's a XXI in the port he was in in 1941.

I opened Patrols_0 and made SubType=3 and SubVersion=0. I saved and opened up the career.

While I did get the XXI, the conning tower was all screwy. I had a 2x30 flak gun right in front of my UZO and scopes. Also, in the crew screen, I'd see the correct body of a XXI, but the conning tower of a VIIB.

Did I do something wrong?

Also, I'm using GWX if that matters.
