Shortly after buying SHIII, I decided to search the internet to see if there were any mods I could find to enhance it, as I had done earlier with Star Trek Armada II (I was particularly interested in new ships, and especially new merchants). After finding this site, I eventually began building ships instead and am now more interested in modding than in playing. Ironically, I didn't really even expect to find any mods at all for the game, let alone getting involved in modding myself.
