For the next five days the was only one day when we did not come across a ship that we did not sink we could not belive the were so many targets that emeny were not protecting if only we had more boats.
















Then after informing BDU of are unbelievable haul it was time to set course for home and it was not before time everyone was champing at the bit to get back home and tell everyone there stories of war in the atlantic.


Just over a week after sinking are last ship we were slipping in the harbour at Kiel. We noticed that the hipper had join the blucher since we had been away somethimg big was going to happen we all thought. It was lat at night when we got back so it was not till the following morning that I was told that I had recived the iron cross second class.
