Shouldn't that be the one with the lowest number, since (I think) that indicates the time taken for the compartment to flood completely (& from bitter experience, all will be lost when that happens). I am referring to the icon that appears in the left of the affected compartment, on the main U-Boat pic in the F7 screen.
I was attacked by an Anson off the NE coast of UK, and had damage in several compartments. My damage control method was to tackle the flooding first, then repair whatever could be repaired underwater, starting with critical components such as batteries and diesel engines.
You will see an icon on the left of the compartment being repaired - if I'm not mistaken that is the time taken to stop the flooding of the compartment. Or is that the time taken to pump it dry?
