I have found you need to work a little harder to find the merchants. My watch are nothing but full green bar and miss ships. I spend time on the tower scanning the horizon with them. With binoculars I can usually spot them before my "expert" watchmen do
. Same with the sonar, I usually work that myself as well. I heard the churning props of a convoy long before my deaf sonarman did
. This is only my second patrol and I hope the boys improve with age....just like wine
