I have far greater respect for McGrath, HE took time off to help his wife when she came down with brest cancer, and did it again when it reappeared. He has also funraised for brest cancer and been very honest in his dealings with it. He keeps his family life away from the cameras as well.

Yep, that's an interesting comparison and there's no contest,

but I think we might be getting our issues crossed here. The original reference to "God like" was a strictly cricketing comparison that refelected his incomparable affect on the psyche of England's batsmen.
On the other hand, I'm sure God would have a thing or two to say about using that comparison for Warne's record in his private life.
After the route at Lord's in 2005, I was resigned to England never regaining the Ashes while McGraw and Warne were around ( wrong of course) however, now that they are both retiring it feels like Christmas has come early
