Good thing I saw this thread...I was about to post a similar topic.
The thing is, when using the DG for the 1st time, I noticed I only had HE-rounds.
I thought
wtf, and guessed I had forgotten to "buy" starshells and AP's back home. Maybe GWX worked different when in base, compared to stock SH3 and other big mods?
So I concluded I had been stupid, but was forced to sail with only HE's for the current partol...no sweat really, as I had just sunk a C2 with it, after hitting it with one fish in the rudder/propulsion area, so they are sufficient nevertheless.
Btw, manning the gun yourself, and aiming for the waterline still works best!
