Ok , I need some help on DD evasion please guys.

First of all, I'm in a type VII-B , it's late 1939 , playing GWX

I raided Dover and sank a couple of targets, night-time raid of course! Getting in was easy, but when I tried to leave, a load of DDs and Armed Trawlers started coming after me.

I got pinged by a DD and that was pretty much the end of the story, yes I managed to avoid getting depth charged, but the next 2 hrs were spent trying to dodge all those stupid DDs (by then I had managed to inch a long way out of Dover and into the English channel).

Trouble is, each time my noise lvl reaches "Green" , one of those morons use the Ping and locate me again , and this process just repeats itself. Eventually, I was fed up and surfaced the boat and was pwned after firing only 1 deck gun shell :P

So, please tell me how to avoid these DDs??? Also, I didn't notice my VII-B had a Decoy launcher until I surfaced and my CE reported it being destroyed. Is BOLD available at this era?
