Your biggest problem is probably the same as mine.
The AMD driven Laptops use a driver refered to as "Cool and Quiet"
Meaning that the CPU ACTUALLY slows down when hot!!!
Mine is an AMD Turion 64 1.8 and I have checked it dropping
from 1.85 Ghz to .750 Ghz!!!!
Talk about Hammer time!!!
