Actually guys I got the idea after visiting the U 505 about 5 or 6(?)years ago-before the resto began. I live outside Chicago and have been there numerous times. At the time the sub was still outside and I was sickened at all the rugrats using it for a jungle gymn. I remember the guides and visitors all referring to it as a Nazi sub and putting out their whole politically correct version of horse crap. Bottom line-no one showed these guys any respect at all. They were people with families, and dreams and lives yet to be lived fighting for their country, not a screwball ideology.
