Yup, half of our country (the dutch-speaking part) supposedly declared their independence
. It was a very convincing news bulletin (made by a tv station in the french-speaking part of Belgium) with a few well-known politicians cooperating with the joke. Although funny, it's a bit sad that a lot of people immediately believed it...
