Second Life (
http://secondlife.com/whatis/) is a 3D virtual world. Unfortunately you need broadband and a fairly decent pc to go there. I've played around on it a little (basic accounts are completely free, you just need to register).
I was just picturing us making our own 3D community there, for get togethers and stuff. Among other things you can do is create clothing (uniforms, anyone?
) and items, plus actually buy land (our own watering hole, sub pens, etc).
I know; being silly I suppose.
