The smart bullet is already being designed for the Future Warrior concept. It will have 4x 15mm launchers of heat seeking smart munitions (fired from a metal storm type launcher) surrouding a 4.6 mm PDW for close in defense. You can run, dodge and generally hide, but the munitions will get you anyway. Should be fielded between 2020 to 2025.

Not quite the same thing. The difference between that and these drone things is while the heat seeker bullet will detonate when it gets close to its target it still has to continue to move along or drop to the ground. With a nano drone you could completely button up and it will hover and wait until you come out then get you.
Being guided it could also fly down a pipe or through a crack in the wall. A lot more effective imo.
