heh I had something similar happen yesterday. I was sitting still waiting for a Tribal Destroyer to come perfectly into view
. I took him down easily and then kicked up the engines to return to course. The officer would say, "Yes sir, ahead full/one third/slow/standard/flank" (depending on what I put it at of course) and the speed setting would change, but the engines would never kick in. Was absolutely sure that there were people in the engine compartment and ready to go, everything looked green, but it wouldn't get started. I had to hit "dive" then kick in the engines for themto finally start.
