All the guns in SH3 are stored in the library folder in guns.dat, but for your model you don't put the 3d model directly, there are special nodes in the dat file cfg#Mx, cfg#Sx, etc placed where you want the guns to be, and in the eqp file for your model you describe what tipe of weapon goes in each node and when.
