Also try to take the time out to observe the 2 minutes silence 11am this Saturday being it the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month.
Back home in Australia as a teenager I would often help and work with my Pa (Grandfather) who is a 'Legatee' for the Legacy organisation which is a nationwide charity group that helps and supports war widows and their families. I'm sure most countries have similar charity organisations because most governemnts don't do enough in support of war widows/families.

Anyway, I'd just thought that I would remind people.

Diver,
Yes mate I am. I'm sorry that you felt the need to quesion my nationality. I could tell you that I lived at North Styne, Manly Beach, Sydney for many years and back then when I did drink my favourite local tap beer was Reschs. I supported the Manly Sea Eagles rugby side during that time before changing to the Melbourne Storm when they came into he comp many years ago. By birth I am a Vic and have been a life time supporter of the Geelong Cats in the AFL. Anyway I hope that will suffice.
Back to the topic. Over here in the UK it is called Armistace Day and I have been living here for over a few years now. We just observed the 2 minutes silence in the last 10 minutes. I have to say that I prefer what we call it back home Rememberance day.
