I can do a patrol in one night. 
I can't see how this would cause an additional week of delay though stabiz. A day to get it to JSCones, a day to get it packed and online, can't see it taking more than 2-3 days (people's schedules willing) really now that the code is finalized for this stage.
As for the 700MB, that's about the same size as 1.1a really. Personally I'd just RAR it up, splitting up into chucks if you needed to. That way those with slower connections could juggle 3-5 pieces of downloads while those with broadband would be able to just download it once, unrar into a install folder and burn that to DVD/CD. |
Yeah, but Lehman said it would be made available for download to the dev team first, and that that would take a few days.
Gizzmoes idea is very good, I never use the grammophone either, and it shouldn`t be to much hazzle to download that seperately for those who want it.
