I guess you misunderstood which torpedo I was referring to. The G7e is the electric which has a fixed speed of 30 kts, maximum range is supposed to be 7,500 m
And the G7es - Acoustic Guidance with a speed of only 20 kts.
Are these fast enough to knock out a Flower Corvette and all the other fast moving DD or DDE which don't really slow down too much. |
I was actually answering YOBERTS question since he started the thread.. I don't know how or if the TDC takes into account the type of fish you have loaded.. The 10 kt. difference in the speed should not be a factor unless you're shooting from astern and then it would never catch up..
