......Also remember the the "most efficient" speed does NOT always stay the same.
It is affected by the weather / sea state.
What, in 0 mps winds, could have been Standard speed as most efficient, could change to 1/2 rd Speed during "heavy weather" with 15 mps winds.
It really does pay to keep talking to your crew!! That's what they are there for!
