Sigh...I guess I'm destined not to get to try sailing in a Type XXI. I've tried May, June, and July, 1944 with exactly the same results. Transfer to Bergen, get my Type XXI, leave on my patrol, reach the area of the northern coast of Scotland, betweeen Torhaven and Lock Ewe. Here comes the CTD. I've tried heading for the English Channel from Bergen, I just get out into the North Sea and the CTD again. This is really bugging me. I've even tried starting new careers with the same results. I've was looking foward to trying out a Type XXI and now I guess I won't be able to. Bummer.
