I clicked on some of the different options & saw that the renown was '0' so I assumed that it was either unavailable or I already had it.. I have the standard hydrophone on my VIIB and when I moved the down arrow, I saw the upgraded unit for 300 renown. I clicked all over it and I didn't get a 'Are you sure?' screen and my renown (2600 or so) never went down... I never saw any message saying I had it already..
I'll try again after this patrol.. I'm 7 days into it and haven't seen as much traffic as I did on the last patrol.. Hopefully this time I'll have some eels left when a convoy is sighted
