I've been playing in one career now for months, all with the idea of building enough renown so I could get command of a Type XXI sub when they became available. Last night I tranferred to Bergan got my Type XXI.
OK, I started out on my first patrol, being assigned to patrol Grid BE31 southwest of England. While transiting in mid-ocean off the northwestern coast of Scotland not far from Lock Ewe I had a CTD. I've tried six different times to continue this patrol all with the same results, a CTD. I've changed my video card settings and in game settings with no results. Anybody got any ideas or suggestions on what I can do to get around this problem or eliminate it. I've even tried starting a new career, but had that one crash to.
