IF THE ERROR CODE IS
1335.
Then you have a Windows Installer error that can occur for different cabinet file names located on the installation media (usually a CD/DVD). This issue can be caused by a dirty CD-ROM disk or CD-ROM read issues. This issue can also occur if the installation files are corrupt.
If the suggestions here do not resolve the error, the files may have been corrupted. If this is the case, your software vendor should be contacted to get a new or updated copy of the installation files.
Fix
One or more of the following suggestions might help with this issue:
- Reboot the machine and try the installation again.
- Clean the CD-ROM. Use a soft cloth to gently clean the disc.
- Run the install locally by copying the installation files to your local hard drive.
- Using Windows Explorer browse to the location of the installation files. For example, if the installation is on a CD, browse to the CD-ROM drive:
.bmp)
- Copy all the contents of the installation location.
- Temporarily paste them to a location on your local hard drive. For example, the Desktop.
- Run the install file, for example, setup.exe or install.exe.
That is it...........If all else fails put the CD/DVD IN fridge for an hour on bottom shelf then try it. I know it sounds odd but it seems to work some times.
