Actually, the 'spyware' is there in the retail game. My friend bought the DVD and there was a piece of paper in it that told about it. (I got my game from the EA downloader)

There are places in every map that will be used for adīs. But honestly there isnt much of them. Few billboards on the side of the roads etc. There isnt any adīs yet, but soon there will be. IMO, in somekind of way it adds to the immersion to the game. Seeing real life adīs while you fight, instead of those "THE EU FORCE WANTS YOU!".

I disagree. The fact that they are making money off your dime (you already paid for this game) and the fact that they are collecting 'data' = bad apples to me.
