Sorry no if you have a TV you got to pay. Some time in the last 5 years a couple had to fight there case in the courts, they said they only watch video and DVDs and had no interest watching TV. It took them a long time to win there case.

Here's another example you have a video or DVD recorder and only a black and white TV so you only need a black and white licence, sorry wrong.
Both the video or DVD recorder record in colour and you need a colour TV licence.

I am waiting too see if and when I am going to be summoned to court for not renewing my licence fee, what they don't know is I got rid of it.
