In SHIII subnets cause minor damage each time you hit them.
I'm not sure why they damage your hull integrity but they do. I agree they could damage your props, fins or your scope but how are they able to damage your hull?
Even if they were made from stainless steel the worst they could do to your hull is scrape the paint off!
