I'm trying to catch up on things here as well....so am I confused? yes....but, that is why I am on the forum to begin with....to read old outdated "necro posts" and find out what has been going on since I left....
I don't understand why you post this same response everytime someone asks a question about an old topic....its more redundant than the necro posts you dislike....
take a break sometime....they are wonderful ........

My point was proven by GT's post saying he "missed" this mod since he was away this weekend. He didn't miss anything, but bumping a six month old post made it seem that way.
You can read all the old posts you want, just keep in mind that bumping a thread which contains outdated and expired links isn't helping anyone. Either PM the mod maker and ask for an update or post a NEW thread and ask about the progress. That way information given is either updated and timely (as in donot's "I have an upgraded version here" post above) or clearly marked as old information (if donot had said, "since my eariler thread about this I updated..." or something).
I don't feel I owe donot an apology, his work (as with Tiki's!) is amazing and I've never said anything to indicate otherwise, but if he feels I owe him one, than "I'm sorry". I just don't feel that dredging up threads from four months ago with unusable links is the proper way of making updates known to recent users on an internet forum. It simply causes problems and confusion.
I'm very happy to see that you're back Tiki, I remember spending a lot of time going through older posts to find your work myself. Perhaps the answer is to stop using rapidshare for hosting (which I see you've done in other posts), now a possiblity with sites like UBRS and FileFront and others. Since rapidshare is both annoying and fleeting it should die.
You're very right, people are not here 24/7 which is why I feel it's important to keep what information is displayed here useful. A thread with live and active links about such a wonderful mod is useful. A dead thread with unuseable links in the op and first page but burried three pages deep a recent response with a good link is less useful. I guess I'm the only one that feels that way though.
