I don't use it so I can't comment from experience, but thus far the only mod/tool I've come across thus far that needed updating to be compatible with MultiSH3 was SH3 Commander and Jaesen sorted that out with the 2.6.1 update.
You've always been able to have multiple copies of SH3 in order to have different mod combinations but until MultiSH3 you haven't been able to keep the careers separate. That's the only difference. |
I keep the files separate by backing them up and the SH3 under PF\ubisoft are simply named SH3-GW etc, and when I want to to use that particular, I simply use the "l" switch in CMDR.
I keep my game files by simply moving them or renaming them to SH so that I use the correct file.
