Most likely be hammered to death in the past, but I couldn't find any relevant info on the site.

I have just doubled the memory in my PC (512 to 1Gb) expecting an increase in Frame Rate - totally disappointed as no change at all.

I have an NVidia 5500 with 256Mb Ram. Has anyone got any tips on how to get the fps above 15 when at sea with nothing in site. I have the following NVidia settings:-

System Performance - High Quality (doesn't seem to make much difference to frames rates)
Antialiasing - Application Controlled
Anisotropic - Application Controlled
