Not sure if this'll help or not, but . . .

One thing I always do whenever I uninstall anything is run a decent registry cleaner after I first uninstall then reboot. You might be surprised at the crap uninstallation leaves behind.

Secondly, after uninstallation check in the My Documents folder. There are files there as well and those probably also need removal.
