My 19" Sony Triniton CRT is from february 1999. Thats over 7 years of chugging along. It had to get some... spark thingy... fixed around late 2000 but that was under warranty. I think my US Robotics Courier modem is on 2nd place. Lasted me from 1994 to 1999 untill I got DSL internet. That was 5 years of trusty work. In that period it grew from 21000 bps to 32000 bps to finally "x2" 56000 bps...

In your dreams mate. The Audigy 2 came out september 2002 Yours could just be hitting the 4th year.

However, MY old Audigy (1) was installed september 2001. Thats more than 5 years! It works splendid yet with EAX and all things fancy. It seems that all Creative changed from Audigy 1 through Audigy 4 was the software and the price. The drivers are working just fine. First with the X-Fi have they actually bothered to develop new stuff. Oh I still have my Live! somewhere I think... Thats from 1998.
