Meh dont get me started.
Last night in my latest patrol sonar picked up a warship medium speed closing.
Allright ... finally something ! We worked out the intercept and moved in. We closed within 1,200 yards and raised the scope... DD C Class ! and were on a perfect course.
After having learned that the DD's detect steam powered torpedos we selected electrics set shallow impact pistols. Everything is looking good ! Open torpedo doors. Line up the shot and LOOSE #1, repeat for #2 LOOSE !
Well even as I hit the fire button for #2 I see that the DD had detected the launch and had altered course towards me.
Good thing we used electrics
