It sux cause if you have a dark monitor then you need to lighten up everything to play SH3 but that makes it to light for everything else. So you always gotta be screwing with you settings. 
I tried the light/dark sky mods but with my old monitor it still didnt remedy the problem. But, like I said, my old monitor was analog and about 6 years old. They tend to darken with age. |
Depending on which agp card you have, you might want to look at the ATI 'Omega' driver suit. As part of their 'game profiles' facility you can create individual pre-set screen settings, gamma, brightness + contrast etc. And set the appropriate profiles to load these when a game is played, returning to the original settings when you exit the game. This can be done for any number of game profiles and their required screen setings.
