Not only myself but many others here have been discussing it with him for several months now without result. His posts are perfectly designed to make people see Democrats and their supporters as complete looneys.
Seriously, don't believe me, go back and look at his past postings, especially the threads he has started. They are full of him tossing insulting names like nazis, neocons, murderers and more.
You're right. I do have a lack of will to discuss it with him. After all, as i said earlier, each and every one of his posts is like a Republican created advertisement on why Democrats shouldn't be trusted to run out country. Since the only Democrat that I would vote for as President has been tossed out of his own party for not pandering enough to this type of hysteria i'm fine with the occasional laugh at his expense.

I don't recall in the history of man that any enemy nations citizens have been asked whether they agreed to a removal of the regime in power, but there have been many calls by various Iraqi groups for us to do just that ever since Desert Storm.
What we do there now, having achieved our objective of removing him, is at least try to stablize the situation before leaving. Maybe we'll succeed and maybe we'll fail, time will tell, but we both know that if it were any other nation besides the US, with the possible exception of the British, Iraq would have either been left to its own devices or permanently annexed as a colony.
