He was. I did have a dead Crew once. Deck gun dead and watch officer wounded. Stupid me put DG rounds in a merchant in NYMG and didn't dive soon enougt...
Deck gun crew 2 dead, one injurned and the Watch officer injurned. The DG man died...
but the Officer survived thanks to the Medic!
So they are useful.
