I opened the mission, went to external view, took some screen-shots, surrendered, left the game, and picked the best shot to upload. Then I deleted the mission as I didn't need it anymore.
I regret just leaving like that. Had I crash-dived, I
might just have survived (except it was '45, they had Elite crews, and the boat was already damaged
).
